Just had a huge asthma attack after just walking out of my room to go to the bathroom.

I can’t stand living with people who smoke. I have two roommates besides me and Jeff and they both smoke cigarettes. Not only can I not stand the smell, but I have severe asthma. I can’t breath half the time i’m in my own home. I understand this is their home too but I have a medical condition. Not only is it just plain rude just shake off my condition, but they don’t even care that they are subjecting me and Jeff to secondhand smoke. I’ve tried countless times talking to them and asking them to not smoke in the apartment but they don’t want to here any of it and usually start a fight with me about how this is their apartment too and I just have to deal with it. 

I can’t wait to move out and get my own place! I’m so tired of having to deal with people who don’t want to compromise. 

1. insaneydo said: Oh dear! *hug* I can’t believe some people are so inconsiderate when it comes to smoking. Especially if one has asthma. I hope you can find a nice place to stay, and get away from from that awful smoke. =(
2. togamitime said: Could you maybe convince them to open up a window or to turn on a fan or something? That’s what I ask my mom to do so that the smoke doesn’t mess with me >.>
